Partnering with A Weekend for Love through our Connectors Program felt like the perfect fit. Their retreat is built around the same values we hold close—real connection, deep conversation, and creating space for couples to grow together.
What Is A Weekend for Love?
Launched in 2019, A Weekend for Love was created to be more than just a getaway. It’s a community where couples step away from the everyday and into something intentional. Each retreat brings together multicultural couples who are committed to growing in love, legacy, and intimacy.
The retreat is led by two inspiring couples: Dr. Alduan and Mecca Tartt, who bring expertise in psychology, wellness, and women’s empowerment, and Dewayne and Michelle Gainey, who combine over two decades of marriage with leadership in business and event design. Together, they share a passion for creating spaces where couples can unplug, reconnect, and strengthen their bond.
What This Partnership Looked Like
For the 2025 edition at Barnsley Resort in Georgia, we partnered with A Weekend for Love by weaving our {THE AND} Couples Edition and {THE AND} Strangers Edition decks into their program. Here’s how the retreat described the experience:

Our partnership also extended beyond the sessions. We collaborated on content that captured these moments, including professional photography featuring the cards throughout the retreat. The AWFL team even created their own version of our Emmy Award–winning series {THE AND}, bringing the spirit of meaningful conversation to life through their community’s stories.
