Made Human — The Ongoing Question

Made Human asks what does it mean to be human in an age where we don't have to be human anymore.

Made Human — The Ongoing Question

What makes us human?

And maybe more urgently what is making us human now?

For centuries, the answer was clear. Our struggles. Our rituals. Our art. Our relationships. The messy, unfinished work of living together.

We've asked that question before and continue to have offered answers throughout history but never in the face of what is presented today.

What happens when technology begins shaping us more than our relational ties to one another does?

When AI is woven into every conversation, every decision, every touch point of our daily life,  what do we become then?

Because we are being made by what we interact with and how we respond to that interaction, the tsunami of changes that are coming in the next two years puts all the impetus on us to answer that question.

Made Human isn’t just a phrase we use at The Skin Deep, it’s an inquiry.

A living question we must return to. Are we still being made human or something else?

So the question isn’t "How will technology change us?"

but rather "What are we doing to explore and deepen our own humanity?"
