What is Confessions?
Confessions dives into intimacy by bringing strangers and couples together in a non-judgmental, safe space where they can speak freely, about desire, fear, love, shame, curiosity, and everything usually left unspoken.
No scripts. No performances. Just real people answering questions designed to unravel taboo, stigma, and discomfort, and discovering something about themselves in the process.
Some of them arrive as partners of ten years. Some meet for the first time on. All of them leave a little more known.
What happens in the room
The setup is simple, and that's the point.
Two people. A stack of questions that most of us would never dare to ask. And permission, rare, deliberate permission, to be completely honest.
The questions do the quiet work. They start gently and press deeper, moving past the answers we rehearse and into the ones we've been avoiding. What follows is tender, awkward, funny, and disarmingly human. People confess desires they've kept hidden. They admit to insecurities. They surprise each other, and often themselves.
It's intimacy, not as a concept, but as it actually feels.
Why we made this
We believe the fastest way past shame is through honesty, and that honesty is easier when you realize you were never the only one.
So much of what we carry about intimacy lives in isolation: the desire we assume is strange, the fear we assume no one shares, the question we assume is ours alone. Confessions exists to break that silence. When you hear a stranger name the exact thing you've never had words for, something loosens. You feel less alone. You feel a little braver.
That's the whole hope. Watch someone else open up, and maybe find it a little easier to open up yourself.
