The opportunity

This is an opportunity for someone who lives and breathes e-commerce design and is ready to take ownership of how our brand shows up and converts across every storefront we touch.

You'll be our E-commerce Specialist: the person who takes the lead on the day-to-day performance and visual experience of our storefronts across both Shopify and Amazon, making them convert better, look sharper, and move faster.

This role sits at roughly 60–70% e-commerce strategy and execution (CRO, merchandising, analytics, listing optimisation) and 30–40% design execution (page design, visual assets, brand consistency). It's for someone who is equally energised by digging into a funnel report and crafting a beautiful PDP layout.

This is a full-time role with a clear intention to grow with the business as the storefronts and revenue scale. We're not looking for someone who dips in and out, we're looking for the person who wants to own this space, sweat the details, and build something that compounds over time.

You'll report directly to our Director of E-commerce & Marketing. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy position. We'll give you the brief, the budget, and the belief, you bring the craft and the conversion mindset.

What does the work look like?

Your First 90 Days

From day one, you'll be running interconnected workstreams across Shopify, Amazon, and the design layer that ties them together. Here's exactly what that looks like and what success means for each over the first 90 days.

1. Shopify Storefront Optimisation & CRO

You'll own the day-to-day performance and visual experience of our Shopify storefronts. That means updating and optimising multiple stores using the theme customiser and native sections (little to no coding required), designing high-converting homepages, product pages, collections, and campaign experiences, and continuously improving UX/UI with a strong focus on conversion rate optimisation.

You'll identify friction points, propose tests, implement changes, and measure results. You'll optimize product merchandising, collections, PDPs, upsells, and cross-sells under the guidance of the Director of E-commerce & Marketing, and regularly research new apps in the Shopify ecosystem, pitching updates with strong logic tied to revenue impact.

90-day KPIs:

•        Shopify conversion rate lift of 8–15% on the primary storefront vs. trailing 90-day baseline

•        Revenue per visitor (RPV) increase of 10%+ with clear attribution to specific changes

•        Mobile bounce rate reduced by 10%+ on key landing pages and PDPs

•        All PDP and collection pages audited within the first 30 days, with prioritised changes implemented by day 60

2. Amazon Listings & Brand Store

Amazon is half of the storefront equation and you'll own it end-to-end. You'll provide optimized product listings (titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content, and Brand Store pages) for both conversion and search visibility, and design A+ content modules and Brand Store assets that maintain consistency with the Shopify storefront.

You'll monitor conversion rate, sessions, buy box, and search ranking, propose listing-level improvements, and stay current on Amazon policies, content guidelines, and new features like Posts, Brand Story, and Premium A+. You'll also coordinate creative and copy updates across Shopify and Amazon so the brand reads as one experience regardless of where a customer finds us.

90-day KPIs:

•        Amazon listing conversion rate improvement of 8–15% on priority ASINs vs. trailing 90-day baseline

•        A+ content refreshed on top 5 priority ASINs with measurable lift in conversion or session-to-purchase rate

•        Amazon Brand Store reviewed and meaningfully updated with documented performance impact

•        Cross-platform brand consistency audit completed within first 30 days, with execution plan by day 60

3. Landing Pages & Campaign Experiences

You'll build landing pages and microsites for product launches, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns inside Shopify and, where it makes sense, tools like Squarespace. You'll own the visual design end-to-end: typography, layout, hierarchy, and imagery decisions that elevate the brand while serving conversion.

You'll create and update on-brand visual assets (banners, graphics, email visuals, A+ modules) using Canva and AI tools, and write clear, actionable briefs for designers or developers when something falls outside your scope.

90-day KPIs:

•        5+ landing pages or campaign experiences shipped, each launched within agreed timelines (typically 5–7 business days from brief to live)

•        Portfolio of on-brand visual assets created and reusable across campaigns

•        Brief-to-live process documented so future campaigns move faster

4. Testing, Analytics & Reporting

You'll analyze performance using Shopify Analytics, Amazon Seller Central reporting, and GA4 to inform every decision you make. You'll run structured A/B tests with documented hypotheses, results, and clear decisions on whether to ship, iterate, or kill, and maintain a testing roadmap ranked by projected revenue impact.

Weekly performance reporting (CVR, RPV, AOV, test results) will become a rhythm you own, with clear next-step recommendations every time.

90-day KPIs:

•        At least 4 structured A/B tests completed with documented hypotheses, results, and decisions

•        Documented testing roadmap maintained in a shared doc, with hypotheses ranked by projected revenue impact

•        Weekly performance reporting established and running consistently

•        At least 2 new apps or tools evaluated and either implemented or rejected with written rationale tied to expected ROI

5. Cross-Platform Brand Consistency

Customers shouldn't be able to tell where the Shopify experience ends and the Amazon experience begins, the brand should feel like one thing. You'll be the person making sure that's true. You'll audit how we show up across platforms, identify the gaps, and bring everything into alignment through coordinated creative, copy, and visual updates.

90-day KPIs:

•        Cross-platform brand consistency audit completed within first 30 days

•        Execution plan delivered by day 60 with prioritised fixes

•        Brand consistency measurably improved across top storefronts and listings by day 90

What the Bigger Picture Looks Like

The 90-day targets above are the foundation. Beyond that, here's what building success looks like over the coming year.

Storefronts that compound. Each month our conversion rate, RPV, and AOV should be moving in the right direction, with you driving the experiments and improvements that make it happen.

An Amazon presence that holds its own. Listings, A+ content, and the Brand Store all working as hard as our Shopify experience does, with conversion and search visibility improving quarter over quarter.

A testing culture, not just a testing roadmap. We want to be a team that makes decisions from evidence. You'll help build that muscle by making testing a regular, documented part of how we operate.

A brand that feels unified everywhere it shows up. Whether a customer finds us on Shopify, Amazon, an email, or a paid ad landing page, the experience should feel like the same brand they fell in love with.

Performance is rewarded directly. We have a structured compensation growth pathway tied to these milestones, and a bonus structure for hitting annual revenue targets.

Who You Are

You have proven, hands-on experience managing and optimising Shopify stores and Amazon listings. You can point us to live URLs, ASINs, or storefront links and walk us through exactly what you changed and what happened.

You're fluent in Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central, A+ content builder, and Brand Registry tools, and you understand how Amazon's conversion levers (reviews, pricing, Prime eligibility, image stack, search ranking) differ from Shopify's.

You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong typography, layout, image choice, digital design and visual hierarchy across e-commerce work. You're comfortable making independent design decisions without a brand designer holding your hand, and you can articulate why a design choice converts, not just why it looks good.

You have a solid grasp of CRO principles, e-commerce UX/UI best practices, and analytics tools like Shopify Analytics, GA4, and A/B testing platforms. You're comfortable building and updating pages independently without developer support, and you're familiar with Klaviyo, Omnisend, or similar email/SMS platforms.

You are genuinely resourceful. You see AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, and the rest) as leverage and force-multipliers, not a novelty. You use them across design, copy, analysis, and testing because you understand the right tools save time so you can focus on what actually moves the business.

You communicate clearly in writing, work well asynchronously, and prioritise based on revenue impact rather than what's loudest in your inbox. You're proactive, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to being a master of your craft.

Nice to have: basic knowledge of Liquid, HTML/CSS; experience with Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands); experience working across multiple storefronts or international markets; ability to speak multiple languages.

And critically: our mission resonates with you. Beyond doing it for a job, you believe that deeper human connection is an important part of modern life. That belief will show up in everything you build here.

How We’ll Evaluate Candidates

As part of the process, you'll complete a short paid audit ($150, 60–90 minutes). You'll review our Shopify store and one Amazon listing, then provide a one-page summary covering:

•        Top 3 Shopify conversion opportunities (with rationale, effort, and impact)

•        Biggest mobile friction point on Shopify and how to fix it, with a functional design presented

•        Top 2 Amazon listing optimisation opportunities (image stack, A+ content, copy, or SEO)

•        One way to improve brand consistency between our Shopify store and Amazon presence

•        Merchandising feedback (collection + PDP)

•        30-day prioritisation plan across both platforms

We're looking for clear, specific thinking tied to business impact, not generic design feedback.

How To Apply

Send us three things:

•        A brief resume and portfolio links showing relevant Shopify and Amazon work, please include URLs to live Shopify stores and ASINs or Brand Store links you have worked on.

•        A short review of our website with 3 specific improvements you think we could make. We are looking for clear, specific thinking tied to business impact, not generic design feedback.

•        A short note (or 2–3 minute video, if you prefer) telling us: what do you see as the single biggest opportunity to improve how our brand converts across Shopify and Amazon right now, and how would you approach it?

We're looking for genuine enthusiasm for the craft, a clear point of view on where we can improve, and clear evidence that you know how to make things happen.
