The Skin Deep is gearing up for its first-ever Community Celebration — a global series of in-person gatherings hosted by everyday community-builders, from living rooms to nature retreats, all using {THE AND} card game to spark honest, meaningful conversation. Around the world, hosts are opening their spaces to bring people together in real life, face to face, no screens required. As part of the experience, guests at each gathering will write their own questions on blank cards — with the best of them coming together to form a brand-new {THE AND} deck, created entirely by the community.

One of those hosts is Angie Inghelram, a dietitian and founder of Nourish Coaching, based in Bruges, Belgium.

Who Is Angie Inghelram

People who know Angie describe her as a creative soul who finds joy in the smallest things in life — always searching for new adventures and meaningful ways to help people feel seen, empowered, and connected.

Her path into health and wellness started from a deeply personal place. As a teenager, Angie struggled with her hormonal and mental health, and became focused on training and nutrition in hopes of fixing herself. That pursuit eventually turned into an eating disorder, one built on rigid rules around food and exercise. Over time, she felt increasingly disconnected from herself — until her body reached its limit, and the concern from the people who loved her became the wake-up call she needed.

That was the turning point. Rather than continuing to fight against her body, Angie chose to rebuild her relationship with it. What she learned along the way reshaped everything: true health isn't about restriction or perfection — it's about nourishment, balance, and learning to listen to your body.

That realization led her to study nutrition and become a dietitian, expanding her knowledge in hormonal health and women's wellness while doing her own inner healing work. What began as personal recovery became her life's purpose. Today, Angie helps women reconnect with their bodies, understand their hormones, and build a lifestyle that feels sustainable, empowering, and joyful — with the goal of helping every woman feel strong, confident, and truly at home in herself.

What Inspires Angie's Work

Angie's biggest inspiration is her own journey — the process of learning what it truly means to reconnect with yourself after disconnection. That experience gave her a deep passion for helping other women find that same freedom.

She's also inspired by the disconnection she sees in the wider world today — from our bodies, our emotions, and each other. While she knows she can't change the world alone, Angie believes every person who reconnects with themselves creates a ripple effect. Every woman who learns to trust her body and live more intentionally is one step closer to a more connected, compassionate world.

"Every revolution starts with one person choosing to come home to themselves.
We spend our lives trying to change our circumstances, our relationships, and even the world around us. Yet the greatest transformation never starts outside of us — it begins the moment we have the courage to truly meet ourselves. To slow down. To feel. To listen. To heal.
A disconnected person cannot create genuine connection. But when one person reconnects with themselves, they change the way they love, communicate, lead, and show up in the world. That creates a ripple effect far greater than we often realize. Every more connected human being is a step toward a more compassionate, conscious world." - Angie Inghelram

How Angie Found The Skin Deep

Angie first discovered The Skin Deep through Instagram, drawn in by the depth and authenticity of the conversations. When she realized the cards were inspired by their videos, she was hooked on the concept immediately.

"The videos felt like little moments of healing while I was simply scrolling through my feed," Angie shared. "I truly believe that every conversation has the power to help someone heal, even if it's just one small piece at a time."

For Angie, The Skin Deep is about creating honest, meaningful moments — with yourself, your friends, or even complete strangers. It's an invitation to slow down and connect the way we were meant to: through eye contact, genuine conversation, vulnerability, and real presence.

What Angie's Community Celebration Gathering Will Look Like

Angie will be hosting her event in Povljana, Croatia, surrounded by nature — a setting she chose intentionally, since it naturally invites people to slow down, breathe, and reconnect before the conversations even begin.

While Angie typically works with women, she's especially excited to bring both women and men together for this gathering. She believes there's something powerful about creating a space where people connect beyond labels and roles, simply as human beings.

Expect the atmosphere to be calm, playful, and deeply intentional. Through guided conversation and moments of reflection, guests can expect to leave feeling more connected — not just to the people around them, but to themselves as well.

Why Real, In-Person Community Matters

Angie's favorite part of hosting is witnessing genuine human connection — watching someone grow, heal, or have a breakthrough in the moment it's happening. She believes connection is one of the most important parts of life, yet something many people are missing today, rushing through life without truly being present.

Her hope for every guest is simple: that they walk away with a renewed sense of presence, vulnerability, and the reminder that genuine connection is one of the most healing experiences we can have.

That's the same spirit behind Community Week itself: proof that real connection happens best face to face — and that anyone, anywhere, can be the one to bring people together.

What's Next for Angie

Angie is currently preparing to launch her brand-new coaching method, releasing in this month — a program designed to give women a complete roadmap for understanding their bodies, their hormones, and building sustainable habits that support real health.

Her vision extends beyond coaching. Angie is building The Nourish Collective, a worldwide community where women can share their stories, inspire one another, and feel truly seen and heard — grounded in the belief that true health means caring for the whole person: physical, mental, emotional, relational, and social.

And her daily non-negotiable? A piece of chocolate. "True health isn't about perfection," she says. "It's about enjoying life, too."
