Community Week Host Spotlight: Lenna Davis Brings {THE AND} to Atlanta, Georgia
One breakup, one card game, one very honest nine-year-old: that's how Lenna Davis describes the path that led her to hosting her first-ever Community Celebration gathering in Atlanta, Georgia.
Community Celebration is The Skin Deep's first global series of in-person gatherings, hosted entirely by the community itself, using {THE AND} card game to spark the kind of conversation that doesn't happen by accident. Guests at every event write their own questions on blank cards, and the best of them will be pulled together into a brand-new {THE AND} deck built from the community that created it.

Who Is Lenna Davis
Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Lenna has always carried a free-spirited, wander-first approach to life. Time in the military introduced her to travel, a love that's since carried her well past the Pacific Northwest. She became a mother at 19, and again at 44, two chapters of motherhood that looked almost nothing alike but both demanded the same thing: the willingness to keep growing and start over when it mattered. These days, she channels that same reinvention into content creation, sharing unfiltered moments of travel, motherhood, dating, and midlife discovery with her audience at @lifethrulennaslens.
Years in the corporate world left her chasing something more colorful on the side, including a run at her own headshot photography business, until Covid closed that chapter. That pull toward creativity never really left; now she folds it into every corner of her 9-to-5, looking for beauty in the everyday and the messy alike.
How {THE AND} Found Its Way Into Her Life
Lenna's first introduction to The Skin Deep came through a past relationship, playing the dating edition of {THE AND} together. That relationship didn't last, but it left her with something that did: a connection to the brand that later led her to the kids' version of the game.
At the time, she and her nine-year-old son, Pierre, were going through a genuinely hard stretch. Playing the Kids edition of {THE AND} together became something they both started looking forward to, a low-pressure way to actually talk, ask real questions, and listen to each other's answers. It gave them a steady way to stay connected through a difficult period, and it's the reason Lenna says she believes in the product so fully: she's seen firsthand what it can do, even in one of the youngest relationships imaginable.

Lenna and Pierre loved the conversations so much they later sat down for their own {THE AND} episode, filmed in New Orleans.
What to Expect at Lenna's First Community Celebration Event
Lenna is hosting 10 attendees, some are acquainted, others aren't, at a wine bar in Atlanta for an afternoon built around wine tasting and meaningful conversation. Her audience skews Gen X, mostly women with an entrepreneurial streak, some looking to deepen an existing friendship, others hoping to meet someone new.
Asked what kind of experience she's planning, Lenna is refreshingly honest about it being her first: "This is my first so...TBD, LOL." What she does know is the feeling she's hoping to leave people with: uplifted, energized, and curious to learn more about what {THE AND} can do.
Why Lenna's Story Matters for Community Celebration
Lenna's path to hosting didn't start with a five-year plan, it started with a hard season and a deck of cards that made it a little easier to get through. That's exactly the kind of story Community Celebration is built to hold: proof that meaningful connection doesn't require an expert host or a polished setup, just the willingness to sit down, ask something real, and see where the conversation goes.
What's Next for Lenna
Lenna is early in this next chapter, working on building her personal brand and exploring a potential podcast with Pierre, centered on the experience of raising a Gen Alpha child as a Gen X parent.
