Our journey with Secrets began with a simple recognition. At our core, we offer the same thing: the space to experience deeper connection with the people you love.

Secrets creates that space through the physical place of a 5 star resort experience. Sunshine, swaying palms, beautiful food, and deeply attentive service that allows you to forget about all your responsibilities. We create it through emotional space, with the context of a game, and questions that inspire conversations that push past small talk and habitual patterns to create the feeling of deeper connection you didn’t know that you needed to have. {THE AND} AWAY, TOGETHER, available exclusively for guests at participating Secrets Resorts & Spas, is what happens when those two things meet.

Why a card game on holiday? 

A beautiful place sets the stage for connection, but it doesn't guarantee it.

You can be on the most stunning beach in the world and still fall into the same conversations, the same patterns, the same quiet distance.Or worse, you can make the effort and spend the money to get away, and still be pulled back to the noise as the phones in our pockets keep screaming for our attention. Work emails, social media algorithms, endless notifications on group chats.

Finding the time and space to be truly away, together, is rarer and more difficult than it should be. Even on holiday, when everything is taken care of for you, sometimes being pulled back into the present needs an invitation.

Throughout the resort, thoughtfully placed QR codes invite guests to download and play the cards, with the right questions waiting in the right places. They're small nudges that invite you to move beyond the usual, sink into the moment, and step away from the responsibilities and pressures of everyday life. They help you be truly present, together.

Marking moments together

Time is a critical element of any working collaboration, and this moment feels like an important milestone in our journey with Secrets. 

We're genuinely proud of how far this project has come. What started as a shared idea grew through close collaboration with the teams at Alliance Connection, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and Secrets Resorts & Spas. Together we created the cards, released a first-of-its-kind content series earlier this year, and are now officially launching the game in both physical and digital form for guests staying at the resorts.

Topaz and Ants from our team have had the enviable job of celebrating the launch with a special activation at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mejures, joined by invited media and content creators. Watching the cards come to life there, in real conversations between real people, was a powerful reminder of why we do this work.

And this moment is very much a beginning.

We're excited to keep listening, learning, and growing together, especially as we hear from guests about how these conversations shape their time at the resort and travel home with them, from the bliss of the resort, back into the noise of everyday life.
